The workshop location is Kista, a borough on the northern edge of Stockholm, the Capital of Sweden.
Stockholm offers a combination of big city action, an outstanding academic environment and country charm with the archipelago as a major attraction.
Sweden is one of Europe's most developed regions with a high concentration of information technology and research. Stockholm is located at the center of innovation for the mobile telecommunications industry, providing a perfect setting for this workshop.
Kista is the major hot spot for Information Technology in Scandinavia. It is the most northern borough of the city of Stockholm, located on the highway from Stockholm International Airport Arlanda (ARN), 20 minutes by Taxi or 25 by airport bus, and 20 minutes by subway from the city center and the Central Station. Stockholm is offering unlimited access to surrounding nature and top tourist destinations. Stockholm's old city Gamla Stan with the Royal Palace is a must see for all visitors, as is the unique archipelago with its 24,000 islands and skerries. A great way to see it is to take a short cruise to Finland.

The workshop venue is the KTH School of ICT on the IT-University campus in Kista. The workshop will be held in the in the Forum Aula in the Forum building located at Isafjordsgatan 39 on campus.

The entire area (including the hotels, the student housing area, and several hotspots in downtown Stockholm) is covered by high-performance networks with fixed (10/100 ethernet) and/or wireless (IEEE 802.11b) access points. So do not forget to bring your laptop or handheld with an appropriate network interface.
