You are welcome to use the Mobile IPv4 service available in StockholmOpen.Net. There is a fully operational Mobile IPv4 service in the network, including both Home Agents and Foreign Agents. By using Mobile IP, you are able to access Internet with a fixed (public) IP address while roaming between different access networks, e.g. between StockholmOpen.Net and the GPRS/GSM network.

If you are interested in trying out the Mobile IP service, please send an email to Jiang Wu. He will send you the information necessary to install the software client on your laptop together with the security associations. You can also borrow a Nokia WLAN/GPRS dual mode PCMCIA card to experience the handovers.
